As we reach the end of another very busy but positive term across our trust, I wanted to take this opportunity to reflect on our continued journey of improvement across the trust. This term saw us welcome Whitehouse Primary into the trust, we have really enjoyed working together and strengthening our relationship. We held our first NEAT Celebration event which provided an opportunity to showcase the wonderful talents of our young people from across all of our schools.  You can see some photos from the day here and we will post a video of the event on all school websites soon, so please do look out for that!

One of our biggest causes for celebration this term has been the continued improvement in attendance. We know that if our learners are in school regularly they will make good progress. All of our schools have seen an improvement in attendance compared to this time last year and I wanted to take the opportunity to say thank you for your support. We recognise that any improvements are done in partnership and this reminds me of the quote, “It takes a village to raise a child.” We will always strive to work with you to ensure our young people achieve the very best that they can

Next term will see our oldest children (in year 6 and year 11) taking their assessments. They have been well prepared for them and I am confident that as we continue to work in partnership, they will do their very best.

Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a restful and joyous Easter break however you choose to spend it, and I look forward to continuing to work with you next term.

Thank you

Debi Bailey
