Newcastle Research School has been selected by the Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) and the Institute for Effective Education to be part of its network of research schools across the UK.

Research schools develop a programme of support to ensure all schools in their area have access to evidence-based resources, training, and networks that make a difference in the classroom. They also work with schools to enable them to develop their own ways to improve teaching and learning and evaluate the impact of this.

We are working in partnership across the north-east region with the research schools of Shotton Hall at Peterlee and Carmel College at Darlington.
