To coincide with the fourth anniversary of the set up of our trust, we are delighted to welcome St Hild’s Church of England School in Hartlepool into the NEAT family of schools from 1 April 2021.

We have been working increasingly closely with St Hild’s over the last year to support their school improvement journey and to develop a strong partnership with our existing secondary school, Benfield School.

This move sees the trust extend its impact into Teesside, which builds on the regional role that we have as one of only 30 research schools across the country that are designed to build and grow school networks that have evidence-based research and practice at their core.

Debi Bailey, CEO of NEAT Academy Trust, said: “This is a fantastic development for the trust and we are pleased that the Diocesan Education Team and the Regional Schools Commissioner recognised that St Hild’s formally joining the trust was a natural progression in our developing relationship.  We share similar values and have the same common purpose, which is to deliver a first class education and quality of care to all of our young people.  The last 12 months has given us the opportunity to get to know the school really well and we warmly welcome all of the pupils and staff at St Hild’s to NEAT.  The school communities we serve, whether in Newcastle or Hartlepool, have many similarities and we look forward to working collaboratively to make a difference together”.
