Announcing the Newcastle Research School SEND Conference 2024

We are excited to announce the upcoming SEND Conference 2024, hosted by Newcastle Research School and supported by Three Rivers Teaching School Hub and North of Tyne Combined Authority. This free event is designed for all North of Tyne Schools and will focus on the evolving needs and best practices for supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Who is it for? This conference is aimed at SENDCOs, teachers, and school leaders who are committed to creating inclusive learning environments for pupils with SEND. It offers a unique opportunity to learn, share experiences, and discuss strategies with other professionals dedicated to SEND support.

What is the Purpose? With the requirements of teachers to support SEND pupils rapidly evolving, this conference will provide attendees with effective strategies and practical tools to meet the diverse needs of their students. The conference will feature inspiring keynote speakers and hands-on workshops that share regional best practices in SEND support.
