From Monday 16 to Friday 20 March, all NEAT Academy Trust schools will take part in NEAT Careers Week 2026, aligned with National Careers Week and this year’s theme, Know Your Future.
Across our primary and secondary schools, pupils will engage in assemblies, employer talks, workshops and structured careers sessions designed to broaden horizons and strengthen understanding of future pathways.
Careers education at NEAT is not limited to one week. It forms part of our Trust-wide Cradle to Careers strategy and is embedded within our personal development curriculum. We introduce career awareness early, revisit it consistently and ensure that pupils build knowledge and confidence year on year.
A key feature of the week will be our secondary Careers Fairs on Thursday 19 March, where pupils from Year 7 to Year 11 at Benfield School and St Hild’s CE School will meet employers from a wide range of sectors. These encounters provide direct insight into qualifications, apprenticeships, technical routes and progression opportunities.
We are continuing to welcome employers, apprenticeship providers and FE colleges who would like to support the week and work alongside our schools.
If your organisation is interested in getting involved, please contact us to explore how you can support pupils across the Trust.
