As the academic year draws to a close, our CEO, Steve Haigh, has shared this message of thanks with every member of staff across NEAT Academy Trust.
The end of a school year seems to come as a rush, with little time to pause and reflect. So I hope that the summer brings that opportunity to think about the very many things we have achieved together this year.
I have had the privilege of witnessing the transformational impact you have on the futures of the children in our communities. Their lives are richer and their horizons broadened, through the many opportunities we provide for them. That impact may never be fully recognised by those looking in from outside, but we know and often that is enough.
Thank you is a powerful phrase when it is sincere. Like you, I joined NEAT because I want to make a difference and I feel the weight of responsibility. You don’t always get the thanks that you should, but when you do get the sincerity of a thank you it is deep and meaningful. I want to add my gratitude and appreciation for everything you do for our children, and I wish you a joyous summer.
